Gae is the owner and permanent makeup artist at Brows By Gae in Maui Hawaii.

Gae fell in love with the beauty industry after finishing her certification at the prestigious Phibrows Academy. Her love for this field expanded into Powder and Ombre Brows trained by Shay Danielle and Amanda Banks. She is also trained in Deluxe Henna Brows, Li-ft Saline Tattoo Removal and Procell Microchanneling. With Microchanneling she can take years off of your appearance with NO DOWNTIME unlike the traditional microneeding. Her goal is to help enhance your beauty through customized permanent makeup and skincare treatments that not only rebuild self confidence and give you a healthier appearance but also helps cut time off of your daily makeup routine.

She is also trained in Paramedical Tattooing also known as restorative tattooing. This is a specialized area of tattooing that focuses on crafting a natural-looking result by restoring or mimicking skin tone and texture. If you have stretchmarks or scars, Gae can help with the overall appearance. She also does 3D Areola tattoo for breast cancer victims who have lost their Areolas due to surgery. Gae can give her clients their confidence back by tattooing on a realistic areola and nipple.

This is the third time I have had my brows done and as the same goes, “third times a charm”. It’s the first time they were done by Gae. And I’m so glad I went to her, and I’m so glad I went to her and will only go to her in the future. Not only does she have a very good eye for detail, but she also has commitment to precision and making the brows even on both sides (not something everyone does surprisingly). She’s constantly improving her craft and up on all the latest techniques and classes. I also had permanent eyeliner done, which looks fantastic. She made sure I was comfortable. She is very professional and uses excellent safety and cleanliness practices. Bottom line, she’s the best!!

I suffer from the over tweezed brows from the 90s and over time my brows lightening with age to blonde. For years I have tried pencils, dyes, crayons, inks, etc. I gave up years ago as I aged and completely sucked at keeping my brows looking beautiful, even and natural with pencils everyday. Some pictures I look back at over the last 20 years; I look like a clown. I also coach sports for preteens and they are brutally honest, uncensored and would ask where my eyebrows were (especially in the summer when they would be bleach blonde from the sun). I am in my 30s, I was so insecure about my brows in public everyday!!! It even became a joke in the family that if my eyebrows were drawn, on point and even/natural with pencil, then it was a good day and I was picture ready! I was over due for some self care and to have one less thing to worry about. My perminant brow gift was from my mother and got me in touch with Gae, she has brought me back to life!

Gae has done an amazing job; I now feel confident, sexy, and whole. I get tons of compliments from people on how natural and beautiful they are. I have never expressed, except to Gae and my mother, about how much I struggled with my brows and how insecure I was. Before starting, she sits down with you and talks you through the process, helps you pick the color and shape. She takes the time to listen and advise, but ultimately it is your decision on the final look. I cannot express how thankful I am. After years of struggling with bald eyebrows after menopause, then tattoos that turned pink (three times!) I have finally found a true professional on Maui who Really knows what she’s doing! Thanks to Gae Bridges I can leave my house without having to do anything to my now perfect eyebrows! (I actually had a friend ask: “What the hell happened to your eyebrows?” the one time I forgot to paint over the hot pink!) I have been wanting to do microblading for several months an have looked into many brow artist. I have seen some really scary brows and some really well done brows. I had heard really good things of Gae’s work. So when I planned my trip to Maui, I made an appointment. She was running a special, so I thought why not check it out. Best decision yet, she is meticulous and took all the time needed to give me the beautiful brows I had been wanting. So if you are on the Island make an appointment ASAP and if you are in the Seattle area she will be back end of October to do my touch up and is taking appointments as well. Her work is amazing and her fee was far less then ALL the other brow artist I had checked into!!

I had been thinking about microblading for well over a year. I can’t believe I waited so long….but I am glad I did, because I had Gae perform the procedure when she came to Washington State. So glad I waited for her. She is meticulous with every stroke and did a wonderful job. I found myself reaching for my eyebrow pencil during my morning make up routine. Oh yeah…I don’t need it any more. lol Get off the fence and DO it. And make sure you go to Gae💖….she always comes back to WA…..and she is worth the wait

I had bariatric surgery two years ago and ended up losing a lot of hair, including my brows, afterwards. Some of my hair has come back, but one of my brows just never looked the same. It was thin and missing a large patch in the center. Gae gave me a soft, natural looking Powder Brow treatment, and my brows are back!! I no longer wear hats to hide my brows, or panic because I forgot to draw them in, I can’t just walk out the door and feel good! It was painless and so relaxing I nodded off a couple times! I just got my powder brows done with Gae. Gae is incredible at what she does…..she do an amazing job making sure that it will exactly what I want and that they look like my natural eyebrows. I’m so happy I got my powder brows done by the extremely talented and professional Gae Bridges. It makes getting ready easy, no more fuss with trying to put on the perfect brow. I had a new treatment called “Procell Microchanneling.” I highly recommend this treatment for anyone with sun damage and/or aging skin. I have been surfing for 50 yrs and I had the sun damage to prove it. After 1 treatment I saw significant results and plan to follow up with additional treatments. Gae was wonderful to have as a practitioner! I live in California and look forward to returning to Maui to have additional skin care by Gae! I’m booking soon!

I had my eyebrows tattooed 5 or 6 years years ago and was never very happy with the results. I wanted microblading at the time but couldn’t find anyone on Maui who did that. Microblading

Policies

BOOKING FEE

A non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee is required to secure your appointment.

Canceling an appointment will result in an automatic forfeit of your non-refundable/non-transferable booking fee.

CANCELLATION

A 48-hour notice is required in order to reschedule an appointment or it will result in an automatic forfeit of your booking fee.

LATE ARRIVAL

Being more than 10 minutes late will result in a cancellation of your appointment. We have a strict no-tolerance policy for late arrivals. Your booking fee will be forfeited.
